Fix missing IPTV logos in your M3U playlist (tvg-logo + tvg-id checker)

If your IPTV app shows channels with no logos, missing groups, or broken EPG, the problem is usually playlist metadata — not the player. This tool scans your playlist for broken tvg-logo URLs, missing tvg-id values, and common metadata issues so you can fix them before importing.

Why IPTV logos and channel data disappear

When IPTV logos don’t show up — or channels appear without names or programme data — the issue is almost never your IPTV app. In most cases, the problem is caused by broken or incorrect metadata inside the M3U playlist.

IPTV players do not fix metadata automatically — they display exactly what exists in the playlist. This is why the same playlist may look fine one week and broken the next.

What this IPTV metadata checker actually validates

Unlike IPTV players or basic playlist viewers, this tool inspects the underlying #EXTINF metadata in your M3U file to identify structural issues that affect logos, EPG, and channel organisation.

This tool focuses on diagnosis. For editing or fixing metadata, open the playlist directly in the M3U Editor.

When should you use this tool?

For performance issues such as freezing or buffering, use the IPTV Buffering Test after metadata cleanup.

Fix metadata issues instead of guessing

If IPTV logos, channel names, or EPG data look wrong, the fastest way to resolve it is to validate the playlist itself — not reinstall apps or switch devices.

Start by identifying broken metadata here, then fix it visually using the M3U Playlist Editor.
