Have an Xtream Codes login but don't want to install another IPTV application? Yerman Player lets you use compatible Xtream server, username and password details to browse your Live TV, Movies and Series through a modern web browser.
Open your IPTV in Safari, Chrome or another modern browser, browse categories as you need them and view Now & Next EPG information on recognised Live TV channels.
If your IPTV service has supplied an Xtream server address, username and password, you can enter those details directly into Yerman Player.
Important: Yerman does not sell or provide Xtream accounts, IPTV subscriptions, playlists or television channels. You must supply details for a service you are authorised to access.
An Xtream Codes web player provides a browser interface for compatible IPTV services that expose their content using the commonly used Xtream-style API.
Instead of first converting your service into an M3U file or installing a dedicated IPTV player, you provide the server address and credentials supplied by your service.
The player can then request the categories and content associated with that account and organise them into familiar sections such as Live TV, Movies and Series.
This makes Yerman Player useful for searches such as Xtream Codes player online, Xtream IPTV player in browser, Xtream web player and Xtream Codes player without downloading an app.
A compatible Xtream login normally consists of three pieces of information:
Those are the same basic details commonly entered into native IPTV players that support Xtream-style logins.
With Yerman Player, the difference is that the player interface runs through the web browser rather than requiring a dedicated Yerman application to be installed.
A major reason for building Yerman Player was simple: sometimes you just want to open your IPTV in a browser.
You may not want another application on your phone. You may be using a temporary computer. You may not have permission to install software on the device. Or you may simply prefer web-based tools.
Yerman Player itself requires no dedicated Windows IPTV application, Android APK or browser extension.
Open the web player, enter your compatible Xtream credentials and browse from there.
This does not bypass device or network restrictions. Organisations and device owners can still restrict streaming websites or traffic. The difference is that Yerman Player itself is delivered as a web application rather than an installed native player.
Large IPTV accounts can contain thousands of Live TV entries. Loading everything into one enormous list is both slow and difficult to navigate on a phone.
Yerman Player uses the categories supplied by the compatible Xtream service to organise Live TV into groups.
Select a Live group and the player displays the channels within that category. On phones, the interface gives most of the available width to the actual channel names instead of permanently filling the screen with a large category column.
Once a Live group is loaded, previous and next channel controls allow you to move through that group while watching.
Channel names alone are not always enough. When browsing Live TV, it is much more useful to know what is on now and what is coming next.
Yerman Player connects Live channel browsing with Yerman's existing EPG matching system.
When a channel can be confidently identified, the player can display Now and Next programme information alongside that channel.
This is particularly useful when the service's own EPG information is missing, incomplete or the playlist does not already contain a useful XMLTV configuration.
EPG coverage cannot be guaranteed for every channel, but recognised channels can gain useful programme information automatically.
Compatible Xtream services can expose a large Video On Demand catalogue. Yerman Player keeps Movies separate from Live TV so the two types of content are not mixed together.
Movie categories can be browsed through the web interface and an individual category is loaded when you actually choose to view it.
That approach matters with accounts containing thousands of VOD items. There is little benefit in retrieving an enormous movie catalogue when the user only opened the player to watch a Live channel.
Series require different organisation from Live channels or standalone movies.
With compatible Xtream services, Yerman Player presents the available series first rather than displaying every individual episode as though it were a separate unrelated item.
Select a series and the player can then retrieve its available seasons and episodes.
This creates a much more natural Xtream Series web player experience and avoids loading detailed episode information before it is actually required.
Use the player through a modern browser rather than installing a dedicated Yerman IPTV application.
Browse Live channels using the categories supplied by your compatible service.
Keep VOD content separate and load movie categories when you actually want them.
Browse series before drilling down into seasons and individual episodes.
Recognised Live channels can display Now and Next programme information.
The interface is designed around phones, touch controls and landscape playback.
This is an important difference in how Yerman Player handles large compatible Xtream accounts.
When you enter the server, username and password, Yerman first checks whether the supplied login is accepted.
It does not need to immediately retrieve every Live channel, every Movie and every Series entry before showing the player.
Instead, content can be requested as you navigate.
For example, if you only want Live TV, there is no reason to retrieve thousands of Movies and Series entries first.
Likewise, selecting one Live TV category only requires the channels for the category you chose.
This lazy-loading approach reduces unnecessary requests and makes very large accounts more practical in a browser.
An Xtream API can tell a player what content exists and where the streams are located. That does not mean every returned stream is automatically compatible with an HTML video element.
Native IPTV applications can support containers, codecs and streaming behaviours that a browser may not accept directly.
This is why simply generating a stream URL and pasting it into Chrome can fail even though the same channel works perfectly in a native IPTV application.
For supported sources that need it, Yerman Player includes a server-side compatibility playback path that can prepare the stream for delivery to the browser.
Yerman does not bypass DRM, encryption or service access controls, and compatibility cannot be guaranteed for every possible stream.
Yerman Player is designed primarily around mobile use. That makes an Xtream web player on iPhone one of its most obvious uses.
Open Yerman Player in Safari, enter your compatible login and navigate Live TV, Movies and Series without first installing a dedicated Yerman application from the App Store.
During Live playback, rotating the phone provides a more video-focused landscape layout, while fullscreen support uses the capabilities available in the mobile browser.
The same approach works with compatible modern Android browsers. Rather than installing another IPTV APK simply to access Yerman, the player interface is opened from the browser.
Individual stream compatibility still depends on the source format, codec and service.
Xtream Codes is not required. If your service gives you an M3U playlist instead, Yerman Player also supports M3U/TXT uploads and remote M3U URLs.
If you already have compatible Xtream credentials, using the Yerman browser player is straightforward.
The player includes a short playback trial so you can check compatibility with your own service and device before deciding whether to unlock the player.
Yes. If you already have compatible Xtream server, username and password details, Yerman Player can use those details directly.
There is no requirement to manually generate an M3U playlist first just to use the Xtream web-player interface.
VLC is useful for many stream formats, but it is a locally installed media player.
If your aim is to access a compatible Xtream service from a web browser, Yerman Player provides a browser-based alternative designed specifically around IPTV navigation rather than general-purpose media playback.
Yerman Player currently focuses on useful Now and Next EPG information alongside Live channels.
The player attempts to identify recognised channels against Yerman's programme database and can display the current and following programme when a suitable match is available.
This means EPG information does not depend exclusively on the service providing a perfectly configured TV guide for every channel.
Some compatible IPTV accounts contain tens of thousands of entries. Retrieving and parsing the entire account every time a user logs in is unnecessary when the user may only want one section or one category.
Yerman Player therefore uses a more selective workflow. If you choose Live TV, Live categories can be requested. If you then select a Sports category, the channels belonging to that category can be loaded.
Movies and Series do not need to be downloaded simply because you wanted to watch a Live channel.
This approach reduces unnecessary processing and is particularly important for a web player designed to work well on phones.
