Play M3U radio playlists online (no installs)

M3U radio playlists are audio-only M3U files — the same format used for music and podcast streams.

Load a playlist in seconds, hit play on mobile, and keep the good stuff easy to reach. We automatically hide IPTV video entries, keep the interface focused on radio listening, and make it easy to star favourites and export a cleaner playlist when you are done.

What is an M3U audio / radio player?

An M3U audio player is used to play internet radio and audio-only M3U playlists that contain MP3 or AAC streams. These playlists are different from IPTV video M3U files and are often used for radio stations, music streams, and talk radio.

This tool focuses specifically on radio playlists, giving mobile users a much more app-like player, faster station browsing, favourites, cleaner exports, and clear guidance when a stream is restricted by the browser.

1) Import a radio playlist

Choose one method. The upgraded importer opens in a guided modal for upload, URL, or Xtream credentials.

Upload TXT / M3U

Drag in a playlist from your device and we’ll keep the audio/radio entries wherever possible.

Import from M3U URL

Pull in a remote list fast, then jump straight into listening, favouriting, and exporting the best stations.

Xtream to audio list

Fetch from Xtream credentials, then filter down to likely radio/audio channels inside the app.

Quick notes

HTTP streams can be inconsistent in browsers
Some HTTP radio streams can still play, but browsers often block or degrade them on HTTPS pages. If one works, great — if not, it is usually a browser restriction rather than your playlist.
This page is radio-first
Video-style IPTV entries such as HLS .m3u8, .ts, or obvious live TV URLs are filtered out wherever possible.
Keep using your other tools
Want broken stations removed first? Run the M3U Checker. Need video playback? Use M3U Player.

2) Browse stations

Search fast, favourite the best stations, move with previous/next, and browse in pages instead of one giant endless list.

Built for real listening moments

Moment What you want How this player helps
On the bus or train Tap in and start listening quickly on mobile Large controls, a more app-like player, and faster station browsing
Cleaning a mixed playlist Keep radio, ditch the TV clutter Automatically hides likely video entries and keeps the list radio-first
Testing a tricky stream Work out whether the problem is the browser or the station Explains codec, mixed-content, and browser playback limitations clearly
Saving the best stations Build a favourites list you can reuse elsewhere Star the keepers and export favourites into a new playlist

For IPTV video streams (.m3u8 / HLS), use the M3U Video Player instead.

Audio M3U ≠ M3U8

Radio playlists are often .m3u or .txt and point to continuous streams (MP3/AAC). IPTV video commonly uses .m3u8 (HLS) and segmented delivery. This tool hides video entries so you can focus on radio.

Why some stations won’t play online

  • Mixed content: HTTPS page → HTTP station (blocked by browsers)
  • Codec/container mismatch: VLC plays more formats than browsers
  • Server headers: some stations send incorrect Content-Type
  • Country/IP restrictions: the station may refuse certain regions

FAQ

Do people really have M3U lists of audio/radio?

Yes — many internet radio collections are shared as M3U/TXT playlists. This tool is built specifically for those.

Why does a station play in VLC but not here?

Most commonly: the station is HTTP-only and your page is HTTPS, so the browser blocks it. VLC is more permissive.

Does this tool store my playlist?

No. We store your last playlist locally in your browser (optional convenience) so you can return later — not on the server.

Can I export a radio-only playlist?

Yes — export includes only the audio entries we detected, and excludes likely video items.

Is this tool legal?

It is legal to use with playlists and streams you are authorised to access. This tool doesn’t bypass DRM or access controls.
